Every year winter comes around to the Salt Lake City, Utah area, and for 4-5 months, decent mountain biking conditions become scarce. Some just hole up and wait, while others will transition to skiing or snowboarding. This winter, I found a way to keep mountain biking going all winter long… well sort of.
Riding a Sno-Go, while being a 3-ski bike and much easier than 2-ski bikes, is SUCH a blast. While the early season at Brighton Resort hasn’t given much options outside of groomers and park, they recently opened up some black and double-black runs with steep and chunky moguls.
Being a snowboarder, I never gravitated towards moguls, so I wasn’t expecting what I learned today. Moguls on a ski bike are SICK.
I’d like to think my gorgeous Stumpy EVO is happy for me, but I think it’s getting jealous.
