This rear hub bearing replacement was done on a C4 Corvette, but its a similar procedure for many other cars. This is a 1992 C4. If the hub bearing is bad, it can cause the ABS sensor to malfunction, which then causes the C4 Corvette traction control and ABS to malfunction, which is pretty dangerous on the Corvette. If you forget to turn TC off, and you try and pull out onto the road, the TC will cause the Corvette to move like a slug, increasing the chance of other cars slamming into you.
