Today’s vlog started out simple. I headed out to look at home remodeling ideas and gather inspiration for the next phase of this house. New upgrades, fresh vision, and plans coming together.
But somewhere between tile samples and renovation talk, I found myself needing to say something out loud.
There comes a point in life when people assume you need guidance, opinions, and financial play-by-plays about what you should do with your home and your money. And while advice can be helpful, it can also be… a lot. Especially when it’s unsolicited.
At nearly 56 years old, I know how to handle business.
I know what I want for my home.
And I definitely know what my money looks like.
This vlog is about home updates, yes. But it’s also about standing firmly in your decisions, trusting your own judgment, and reminding folks that experience is a powerful teacher.
