there are many ways to know the heart of the father and one of those ways is through prayer. the bible said make your petitions known through prayers, so in as much as we are sons we should also remember that sons fellowship with their father and we do that through prayers. just like the book of Luke 18:1 was reminding us that we are being of prayer. "And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint"
