I know wax moth is a natural part of beekeeping but boy can they make a mess. Cleaning hive bodies is a chore that never will get done, there is always something to clean. We decided to try a pressure washer on or worst equipment and it seemed to do a good job. I do not consider ay wax lost because is is usually mostly webbing or very smelly if rendered.
This went well for us, far faster than scraping by hand and less time than boil and dipping.
