Heavy police deployment, barricades and water cannons were positioned at Dak Bungalow Chowk to prevent protesters from proceeding towards Raj Bhavan.

As Tejashwi Yadav and the protesters reached the key junction, police reportedly stopped the march. Heated exchanges and pushing were witnessed between police and demonstrators, with several workers reportedly taken into custody.
