Key Point:
Intel has several more Arrow Lake SKUs left for the launch, mostly including the non-overclockable chips at lower prices than those launched in the initial batch. There are a few Ultra 9, Ultra 7, Ultra 5, and Ultra 3 CPUs with somewhat lower specifications than the already launched ones. Some of them have already leaked recently, the latest being the Core Ultra 5 225F CPU.
According to some reports, Intel's Battlemage discrete GPUs are hardly a few weeks from launch. While Intel isn't talking much about these GPUs, it has surely done its preparation to launch some of these cards in the next month. We don't know how many SKUs Intel has prepared for the Battlemage lineup, but it looks like the Arc B580 is now seeing more leaks, confirming the soon-approaching launch.
With the launch of Z890 motherboards after Intel unveiled its Core Ultra 200S processors, motherboard makers have been regularly releasing new BIOS updates to offer optimizations for the processors and the Intel PPM is one of the latest by ASRock on Windows 11 that seeks to optimize Arrow Lake chips automatically.
Some interesting rumors have surfaced from Chiphell. Panzelied, a reliable leaker from the Chiphell forums, typically known for early information on NVIDIA hardware, is now claiming that the supposed GeForce RTX 5090D graphics card which was confirmed yesterday , won’t have significant differences in terms of hardware.
In a recent tweet by the renowned overclocker "SkatterBencher," it looks like Intel is planning to fine-tune Arrow Lake's VF behavior with a new microcode. While he hasn't mentioned what kind of changes we are looking at, it is said that the change will make the overclocking strategy vary with each ME package. It may seem like SkatterBencher has access to the new microcode, but specific details are still kept under wraps.
Intel is just about to announce its new graphics card series based on the Xe2-HPG architecture. Codenamed Battlemage, they will be the driving force behind Intel’s second attempt to capture a share of the discrete GPU market. In the end, it will all depend on performance and price, assuming the company has polished its drivers.
