Enya is widely regarded as one of the best musicians to come out of Ireland to date. But we should never forget that "Enya" is actually a three-person team: Enya herself (vocals/music), Nicky Ryan (production/arrangement), and Roma Ryan (lyrics).

Together, they are responsible for mixing Celtic influences with New Age music, utilizing a unique version of the "Wall of Sound" technique pioneered by Phil Spector in the 1960s. By layering Enya's voice hundreds of times, they created that massive, choir-like sound without ever using a choir.

And, of course, "Orinoco Flow" remains one of the most iconic songs ever written.
