I tried making a completely untested salad dressing for my wife Pam… and somehow it worked.
She wanted something oil-free (oops… I may have added a little toasted sesame oil), so I grabbed what we had in the kitchen and improvised:
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp toasted sesame oil
Water to thin
That’s it. No measuring drama. No recipe testing. Just house husband energy and a taste test at the end.
Also: a quick Costco story involving a very confusing “thank you for your service.”
