Bird Feeders & Hummingbird feeders

The location is 6 miles ENE of Cedar Crest, NM.

9/1/25 The weather has been a bit cooler this last week. There are noticeable fewer hummingbirds. It was a GREAT hummingbird summer! I hope you enjoyed it. We are looking forward to the arrival of our migrating birds and winter residents.

10/82/25 Down to one hummingbird feeder. Their numbers are dwindling. :-(

10/21/25 I hadn't seen a Humming bird since 10/16, so I took down the last feeder yesterday. The Robins will be showing up before long as they migrate southward. They are around for a couple of weeks. The Juncos and Pine Siskins should be showing up soon, too.

10/24/25 The Scrub Jays get on the feeder and start throwing food everywhere until they find the one thing they really like. It was wasting a lot of food so I put a planter pan under to catch some of what they throw out. I drilled holes in four places to allow rain to run out. So far it seems to be working.

2/10/26 Lots and lots of Robins lately. The weather has been so warm that the ice has melted from the pond and the Robins are loving bathing in it.
