The Rookie: 1x8 – Nolan's First Kill

Описание: Synopsis - After responding to a silent alarm, Nolan and Bishop go inside of a local market where the owner has two robbers held at gun point. After they tell her to put down her gun, the two robbers who are brothers, decide to run away. One brother stupidly tries to get away by jumping on a table and escaping through the roof to which he fails as Bishop hits him with her Baton and the other gets through the back door so Nolan chases after him.

Whilst getting chased the other brother runs inside a family’s home and holds the father at gunpoint so he can get the car keys to escape. After Nolan catches up with him, the man runs up the stairs to try and escape through a window. Once Nolan gets the family out of the house, he goes up stairs to capture the other brother who is struggling to open the window. After he tells him to drop his gun, the man turns around with the said weapon and aims it at Nolan, so without a moments notice, Nolan shoots him. Bishop then proceeds to check the brother’s pulse and notifies the police over radio that he is dead.

Final Scene

After Nolan shuts the door leading outside, he continues to walk down the hall and suddenly gets hit in the face with a Baseball bat. After getting dragged into the living room, Nolan notices the man who hit him was the brother of the person he killed. The brother not believing Nolan killed his brother in self-defence decided to get revenge on Nolan. But before we can see what happens, the camera angle lowers and all that is heard is a gunshot. The scene ends with a ‘To Be Continued’ cliff-hanger.
