Follow the 10 steps in the video - to succesfully remove your flat four engine out of the engine bay of you vintage VW BUS. 🔧
As you can see in the video - the rear bumper is off - then you can spot the black bar behind the bumper, where the trailer hitch once was mounted on. I had to remove that havy bar as well to get the engine rolled out backwards. You probably habe to remove this bar as well. It just isn‘t mentioned in the video, as most of them early bay window buses, haven‘t had a trailer hitch (and this bar for that) mounted. 🚐
