STORYLINE:
Thousands of protesters took to the streets for a seventh consecutive day to oppose a planned resort linked to Ivanka Trump, daughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner.

Demonstrators chanted slogans including “Down with communism,” “Albania belongs to Albanians, not traitors,” and “Resign, resign.”

Protesters say the project could damage the protected Zvernec-Narta Lagoon, an area known for its rich biodiversity and environmental significance.

They are calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the cancellation of the project linked to the Trump family.
