Today we head south and visit the Zoo in Jacksonville, Florida! It is a hot one, but this zoo offers a lot of air conditioned exhibits and the luscious greenery offers plenty of shade!
The low crowds made us feel like we had a personal tour and were able to take our time & enjoy all the exhibits.
Jaguars are a rare sight to see, but we were fortunate to have Harry the jaguar show off for us. Maybe he smelled we are Eagles fans, since he did try to spray us!
We watched an alligator being brought back from the hospital and back to his habitat. If you listen closely, you can hear him “growl” once let free.
