Here we are looking into three major fundamentals of photography.

iso
aperture
shutter speed

Understanding the relationships between these will make you a great photographer.
What is iso?
iso is the sensitivity of the sensor to light. it makes the picture brighter. but the more iso you use the grainer or noisy your photo will be. so better to use a low iso.
aperture is basically the opening of the lens diaphragm through which the light passes. it is denoted by f stop numbers. eg: f 1.4, f2 or f12 etc.
The higher the f stop number the less is diaphragm opens and less light gets in, while the lower the f-stop number more light gets in.
aperture also affects the depth of field. Depth of field is the distance between the closest and farthest objects in a photo that appears acceptably sharp.
Shutter speed is all about freezing the action. It is denoted by the numbers like 1/1000 of second or 3 seconds or 10 seconds. The higher the shutter speed the faster you can freeze an action and the less light sensor gets.
