We start by looking at the results of the crackle mediums experiments and conclude the Golden crackle paste is most successful even with colour added. We then start on a new series about Chine-Collé but using a gell plate instead of a press. Our subject is one of several oyster mushrooms on an alder log. We prepare graphite and charcoal transfer drawings and paint a mulberry handmade paper. We do the transfer and place the Chine-collé piece on the gell plate in position and paint the rest of the plate with distress crayons. After waiting for it to dry, we brayer on the white and matte medium, place prepared wet paper on the plate, and again wait for it to dry with a quick reveal at the end of the video of a very successful Chine-collé print using a gell plate.
