Places to see in Bhavnagar Victoria nature park is a very large park established by the kingdom of Bhavnagar during 1888.
Victoria Nature Park is situated near Kaliabid area of Bhavnagar city. This park is one of the biggest park of Gujarat State. It is in vicinity of about 2 kms and is in about 500 acrers of land. The Maharaja of Bhavnagar, Takshtasinhji established this park in 1888. The architect of the park was Mr Parkson Sins from Germany,. This park has many varieties of birds, animals, plants and mammals in it. There is a beautiful Krishna Kunj Lake waterbody inside the park which is the shelter for many birds including migratory birds. Victoria Nature Park is blessing for the Bhavnagar people as many people go for jogging in this park in the mornings and evenings. There is good facilities for the people to have picnic in the park. There are plenty of peacocks and Hynas in the park.
Park timings are : Morning 6 to 10 and Evening 4 to 9.
There is no entry fees to visit the park.
One must visit this park if one is in Bhavnagar.
