Here's a brief tour of the Falathlorn kinship house of the Grammarians of Seirian Rhain in Lord of the Rings Online. Make sure to watch at 720P (in Settings on lower right corner of video).
This is meant to be a university. Outside you will find anthropological, archaeological, and paleontological finds that have been brought to the university for investigation, along with scientific instruments used to study light and the cosmos.
Inside you will see a small, ancient chapel, the oldest room of the university. Further on you will see a student union where young learners can relax and have a drink with friends (although, if you take a moment to look you'll find that a book is never far), a debate/lecture hall, the dean's office, a library, a research lab, an alumni room, and a classroom. There is even an ivory tower here, although the researchers try to come down and share their findings with others once in a while.
