If you lose the exchange and end up going second, then moving a random pawn piece or the same piece as them might stride their movements towards being similar to how they are in the video.

If the enemy's movements for the pieces are completely different from how they are in the video and you aren't capable of countering it, then you can quit the game and try again or reload your save. That is as long as you've saved before attempting the shogi match. Just so that it's similar to the video and makes things easier for you to understand and replicate.

Also, the more difficult the challenge, the longer the ai will take its time thinking about the next move, depending on what your recent move was.
