This customer originally stopped by for a DSG Oil & Oil Filter Service but opted to also upgrade the ECU & DSG software at the same time.

To enjoy the maximum power and torque potential from APR Stage 1, the APR DSG software needs to be installed on DSG cars or a clutch upgrade on manual cars otherwise the clutch will slip. This car is a DSG, therefore we installed the APR DSG software.

The APR DSG software increases the clamping pressure, optimises shifting, launch control and many other parameters for a much more enjoyable driving experience whilst the APR ECU software optimises fuelling, ignition, boost and many other maps inside the ECU for an increase in power, torque and driveability.

At the same time as the ECU & DSG upgrade, we carried out a DSG service. This includes the genuine oil filter, seal and service routine. We upgrade the DSG oil to Motul DCTF which is an improved oil vs. the factory mineral-based oil.
