It’s 2nd January, my birthday and I’m honestly so excited

There was so much happening on my birthday that I had to divide it into three parts and this is Part 1, an overall overview of how my birthday started

I began my birthday morning just like always, making my usual spearmint tea and warm water and slowly sipping it

Then I moved on to my morning skincare routine

Since I woke up a little late and knew I would need at least five hours to get ready, I made something quick for breakfast, some ramen along with berry juice

I also had my birthday cake, which was gluten-free, lactose-free and completely vegan, so it was gentle on my gut

Cleaning my house is extremely important to me, especially on special days, so I spent time cleaning and organizing my home before getting ready

After that, I took a shower, shaved my face, cleaned up my eyebrows and started my skincare and makeup routine

Because it’s winter, I focused heavily on hydration and used multiple layers of moisturizer and hydrating products to make sure my skin didn’t look dry or patchy

I did my makeup, something I had already practiced a few times before the big day

For my nails, I kept it very simple and natural, removed my Christmas nail color, and kept bare, clean nails

Once I was ready, I got into my birthday dress, which was completely planned in advance, and then I left for the party with my boyfriend

I had an amazing time there, I absolutely love dancing, it’s one of my biggest hobbies, so I danced a lot, enjoyed a few drinks (whatever I could find that worked for me) and just had a really good time chatting and celebrating with my boyfriend

After the party, we came back home and since I’m very religious about my skincare, I did my full nighttime skincare routine before finally going to sleep
