Preventing Chromosomal Issues with Epigenetics - essential if you want to know what to do if worried about chromosomal issues TTC? - expert advice is here!
I’m excited to share this video on YouTube, filmed live to a private group of women in my FERTILITY HELP Facebook group. I know how much heart, energy and hope you are putting into your fertility journey and I don’t want you to give your power away to the medical establishment who say if you are over 40, your chances are slim and you are likely to endure chromosomal abnormalities.
The truth is, chromosomal errors increase as we get older, but the good news is: they are not set in stone. Through my epigenetic protocol, you can influence your gene expression and reduce the risk of these abnormalities and miscarriage.
This is exactly what I’ve been teaching and refining for around 20 years (since 2007) inside my Fertile Lifestyle Course.
As eggs age, they are more vulnerable to errors in meiosis – the division process where chromosomes are supposed to split evenly. Stress, toxins, poor mitochondrial function and nutrient deficiencies all contribute to the risk of errors.
Your biology responds to your environment. If you change the signals your body receives – the food you eat, the toxins you eliminate, the way you move, the stress you manage – you change the way your eggs divide. That means fewer chromosomal mistakes and healthier embryos. However, for epigenetics to work in your favour, you need to activate all epigenetic pillars at the same time.
Epigenetics is the science of how your behaviours and environment switch genes on or off.
eg:
Nutrition: What you eat either fuels healthy cell division or contributes to DNA damage.
Detoxification: Clearing out heavy metals, plastics, moulds and pesticides that directly damage chromosomes.
Mitochondrial energy: Your eggs need strong mitochondria to divide properly.
Hormone balance: Hormones are made from cholesterol and fat. When balanced, they protect egg development.
Emotional regulation: Cortisol and adrenaline interfere with egg quality when unmanaged.
In my course I teach the Yin-Yang fertility diet, but for now:
Good fats every day – avocado, coconut, nuts, seeds, olive oil. Fat = cholesterol = hormones.
Protein with every meal – to stabilise blood sugar and prevent hormone spikes.
Slow and low carbs and only consume anti-inflammatory vegetables – for minerals and to keep inflammation low. Want to know how to live an anti-inflammatory diet and avoid inflammatory vegetables? Read this - https://powerfullypure.com/products/s...
Mitochondrial foods – chlorella, marine phytoplankton, Thai black ginger, and medical grade Reishi- All available through the online shop: https://www.powerfullypure.com
These supplements rapidly transform your body with anti-aging and anti-inflammatory support, directly improves energy production in the egg. When you stabilise your blood sugar and fuel your mitochondria, you lower oxidative stress and create eggs that can divide correctly.
Your DNA is only as strong as the environment it’s in. If heavy metals, plastics or pesticides are present, they bind to your DNA and increase mutation risk. That’s why my epigenetic protocol always includes detox support:
MSM and lemon water in the morning to mobilise toxins
Castor oil therapy to open lymph and liver pathways
Fulvic minerals and trace elements to replace what’s lost in detox and protect DNA replication
Think of it like this: you’re clearing smog off a windscreen. Your DNA instructions can finally be read clearly, without interference. All these products are available through the online shop: https://www.powerfullypure.com
What ALSO helps?
Daily fertility-fit movements to oxygenate the reproductive system and move out stress hormones, movements that drop cortisol levels within minutes and resets your nervous system (all available in Module 5 of the 22 module Fertile Lifestyle Course - available in my Fertile Lifestyle Course: the longest running fertility support course for women over 40 and 50 with up to an 80% success rate for live birth rates, read more here - https://www.fertilelifestylecourse.com
What to prioritise if you have low AMH, previous losses or failed transfers
Low AMH: Focus on mitochondrial repair and mineral saturation. AMH is a marker of egg reserve, not of quality. Quality can be improved.
Previous losses: Prioritise detox and progesterone support. Most miscarriages are chromosomal, so stabilising meiosis is key.
Failed transfers: Address the uterine environment and inflammatory triggers. Even the best embryo won’t implant if the soil is hostile.
With the right environment, your body can and does create healthy eggs.
It is possible to have a happy, healthy baby with a pregnancy over 40 and a pregnancy over 50.
