The Messenger of Allah - May Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him (PBUH) - said:

​"The best water on earth is Zamzam water. In it is food for the hungry and cure for the sick", declared authentic (Sahih) by Al-Albani.
"It is blessed, it is food for the hungry", declared authentic (Sahih) by Al-Albani.
"The water of Zamzam is for whatever purpose it is drunk for", reported by Muslim.

About the King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz Project for Zamzam Water 1435H-

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz – may he rest in peace:

Ordered the construction of water treatment plant for Well No (1) to maintain the quality of Zamzam water as well as the construction of a water bottling plant, transport lines, an automated monitoring, control and storage systems as well as other facilities in 1427H.
Approved as the name of the project: "King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz Project for Zamzam Water (KPZW)" in 1431H.
Inaugurated the Project on Friday 24th Ramadan, 1431H.
Ordered the launch of two projects; the first project deals with the automated cleaning of Zamzam containers, and the second targets the re-design of said containers to meet the requirements of water protection, flow and easy access thereto.​
