The day begins with Chisom waking up before everyone else, fetching water from the well, making firewood, and preparing warm water for the children to bathe. He sweeps the compound, brushes his teeth, and starts the day with responsibility and hard work.
As Mum and Dad wake up, daily village life begins — washing corn, preparing breakfast, and getting the children ready for school. After everyone leaves for their duties, cooking preparations continue, storytelling begins, and family bonding fills the compound.
We also share real moments — from pear plucking and football discussions to an unexpected fall from the tree. Through it all, love, unity, and resilience shine in this African home.
In the evening, Mum prepares dinner, and the family gathers to eat together before getting the children ready for bed.
