FULTON COUNTY, Ohio — Santa Claus had a brief run-in with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office while out delivering presents alongside Mrs. Claus, after deputies clocked him moving a bit too quickly in his Sleigh.
According to the sheriff’s office, no ticket—or coal—was handed out. Instead, the stop was meant as a playful reminder that traffic laws apply to everyone, even Santa and his sleigh.
The full encounter was captured on a deputy’s body-worn camera, and the footage has been released for the public to enjoy.
