Описание: বৈষ্ণবধর্ম হিন্দুধর্মের একটি শাখাসম্প্রদায়। এই সম্প্রদায়ে বিষ্ণু বা তার অবতারগণ আদি তথা সর্বোচ্চ ঈশ্বর রূপে পূজিত হন। কিন্তু গৌড়ীয় বৈষ্ণব সম্প্রদায়ের মতো কৃষ্ণকেন্দ্রিক সম্প্রদায়গুলি কৃষ্ণকেই সর্বোচ্চ দেবতা তথা সকল অবতারের উৎস মনে করে। বিষ্ণু নয়বার পৃথিবী উদ্ধারের জন্য আবির্ভূত হয়েছিলেন এবং কলিযুগে কল্কি অবতার হয়ে আসবেন বলে বিশ্বাস করা হয়। যারা বিষ্ণুর উপাসনা করেন, তাদের বৈষ্ণব বলা হয়।

Vaishnavism is a branch of Hinduism. In this community, Vishnu or his incarnations are worshiped as the original or supreme God. But Krishna-centric communities like the Gaudiya Vaishnava community consider Krishna to be the supreme deity and the source of all incarnations. Vishnu appeared nine times to save the earth and is believed to have become the Kalki incarnation in the Kali Yuga. Those who worship Vishnu are called Vaishnavas.
