According to Hezbollah, both strikes resulted in direct hits on Israeli military vehicles deployed around the strategic Beaufort Castle area. The group says the attacks were carried out around June 4, 2026, amid ongoing clashes in southern Lebanon.

Beaufort Castle has become a key battleground in the conflict after Israeli forces reportedly seized the historic fortress in late May during operations targeting Hezbollah infrastructure. Since then, Hezbollah has claimed multiple attacks against Israeli positions, tanks, and troop concentrations in the area.
