Saint-Martin gardens near the entrance to the old town where, and while there's no one in the tower checking vehicles, they do so at the bottom of Avenue de la Porte Nueve, as the area is highly restricted to vehicles.....but there's no problem at all just walking up the hill and enjoying the views and gardens.
There's a giant picture frame for that perfect holiday photo, you'll have the panorama of Monaco as the background.
Walking up the hill certainly makes for a pleasant hike, and it formed a permanent part of my morning cardio routine during my first long stay in Monaco.
As Monaco's landscape escalates from sea-level all the way up to a mountain peak, there's no shortage of hiking routes for your cardio routines and staying fit....of course, if only it weren't for all the amazing food in Monaco !
