We stayed just outside Vlore, Albania, at Eco Camp Valona, surrounded by stunning coastal nature and crystal-clear waters. From there, we hiked to St. Mary’s Monastery, perched on a tiny island that we reached by crossing a narrow wooden platform — like stepping into another world.
Our adventure didn’t stop there! We also explored hidden bunkers carved into the cliffs of another nearby island — relics from Albania’s past that now rest quietly above the turquoise sea.
