Today's puzzle is the last cryptic crossword that The Times will publish from Richard Rogan, their former crossword editor. Richard Rogan was a friend of ours and tomorrow marks the anniversary of his untimely passing. His death was a complete shock to all of us in the puzzle community - he was a wonderful, warm man and one heck of a constructor. RIP.
