🔍 What is Dog Separation Anxiety? "Separation anxiety" is often used as a broad term, but it typically falls into three distinct categories:
-Clinical Separation Anxiety (Hyper-attachment): The dog is only comfortable with one specific individual and struggles even if other people are present.
-Isolation Distress: A more common condition where the dog is comfortable as long as anyone (or a select group of people) is with them.
-Barrier Frustration: Not necessarily rooted in anxiety, but rather a frustration with confinement (crates, baby gates) or a "Fear of Missing Out" (FOMO).
