Christmas is behind us, but in Finland’s far north, reindeer are more than a festive symbol - they’re a way of life.

But climate change is bringing growing challenges for these Arctic animals.

STORYLINE:

This is the wonderous, frozen landscape of Rovaniemi in Finland.

At Taava Reindeer Farm, 25 kilometres from the capital of Finnish Lapland, visitors can see reindeer in their natural habitat.

Up here, close to the Arctic Circle, reindeer herding is a way of life.

This farm, next to the flowing Kemijoki River, is home to about 30 reindeer.
