Severe storms pushed westward out of Georgia across portions of East Alabama with dramatic storm structure and lightning. Severe thunderstorm warnings were required across many counties, including Tallapoosa and the Alexander City area, as damaging winds occurred in some areas. Drone shows an impressive shelf cloud with lightning along the HWY-280 corridor. Heavy rains and wind accompanied the storms as they moved through the region.
