Rupee opens at 76.93 against the dollar. This is definitely something that the market was not expecting. There has been a lot of weaknesses in the Indian currency over the last week as well. As the conflict intensifies, Rupee has now depreciated even further. The dollar on the other hand is appreciating because of the surge in the prices of crude oil. It is yet to be seen how the Reserve Bank of India really intervenes in this matter.
