Tupac Murder Trial LIVE: Follow live updates from the Clark County District Court in Las Vegas as the trial of former South Side Compton Crips leader Duane “Keefe D” Davis continues over the 1996 killing of rap icon Tupac Shakur.

The trial has featured explosive allegations involving Sean “Diddy” Combs. Jurors have heard a recorded 2008 interview in which Davis allegedly told LAPD detectives that Combs had discussed a $1 million hit targeting Tupac Shakur and Death Row Records co-founder Marion “Suge” Knight during the height of the East Coast-West Coast rap rivalry.

Retired LAPD detective Daryn Dupree testified about the alleged statements and the claim that money was supposed to be funneled through Combs associate Eric “Zip” Martin. Davis has maintained that he never received the alleged payment, while his defence has argued that his earlier statements were fabricated for street credibility.

Combs has long denied the allegations, describing claims linking him to Tupac’s murder as fiction.
