Governor Newsom announced new initiatives to accelerate responsible AI in state government.

Описание: As part of California’s focus on modernizing government service delivery, ODI is working alongside the California Government Operations Agency (GovOps), and the California Department of Technology (CDT).

➡️ This includes ODI’s participation in the California Innovation Council, bringing together experts to help modernize how the state delivers services.

➡️ODI is also contributing to the new Emerging Technology Accelerator through formal partnerships with the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI, UC Berkeley, the Mozilla Foundation, the Tech Talent Project, US Digital Response, and Nava Labs.

➡️ODI, CDT, and the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) are working together to expand statewide AI capacity by launching over 20 AI trainings for state employees.

These efforts help state employees use emerging tools responsibly and effectively.
