“My work has travelled to the events such as the Venice Film Festival and Filmfest Dresden. I am thrilled to be part of the Creative Team, as the subject matter is something that is very close to my heart. While filming in Mumbai in 2005, a two-tonne lorry mowed me down. I lost my left leg but after years of recovery I returned to filmmaking. Through my film efforts for this show, I want to express what it means to be a person with disability, and depict how these athletes have to put in one thousand times more effort compared to others in order to be at the top of their game.”
