I created a home resort using just the basics. You know how they all say it’s about the simple things in life? It really is — I want you to think about the last time you were on vacation and what were truly the best moments during that time. For me, it’s the ambiance, the time to myself and to my family, and the cooked meals. A vacation is a longer stretch of all those things, but instead of rewarding ourselves with that experience once or twice a year (let’s do that too), why not live it in our homes and spaces on a regular basis? We deserve this now, more than ever.
