What they find instead is a sentient cosmic corruption that threatens all of reality.

Throughout the Easter Egg, players uncover fragmented transmissions from Dr. Vogel’s successor, Dr. Selene Voss, revealing that the station was designed to harvest energy from dying stars — but something went terribly wrong. The Astra Malorum (Latin for “Star of Evil”) begins consuming timelines, merging realities, and distorting physics itself.
