Beginner's Guide to Knitting a Top Down Triangle Shawl

Описание: How to knit a top-down Triangle Shawl - with any yarn!

A top-down triangle shawl is easy to knit once you understand some basic rules about the construction. Start by casting on nine stitches with a Garter Tab cast on. Then work the following rows:

Set-up row: K3, pm, inc, k1, inc, pm, k1, pm, in, k1, inc, pm, k3.
Row 1 (and all WS rows): Knit to end, slipping markers as you come to them (this creates a Garter stitch shawl body).
Row 2 (and all RS rows): K3, sm, inc, knit to marker, inc, sm, k1, sm, inc, knit to marker, inc, sm, k3.

Repeat these two rows for a basic Garter stitch shawl and use a basic, stretchy bind-off when you're done. It really is that simple!
