In Part 2 of this series, we continue the chronological comparison of German and Soviet tanks — from the escalation of World War II to the end of the Cold War.
After 1941, tank warfare entered a new phase. Armor became thicker, guns more powerful, and designs more complex. This part covers the rise of heavy tanks, the response to the T-34, and the evolution toward modern main battle tanks.
As in Part 1, all tanks are shown in the same hangar, from the same angle and under identical lighting — to ensure a fair and consistent comparison.
Germany is always on the left.
The USSR is always on the right.
