Splish, splash, our spotted hyenas love taking baths! Ngozi, Kelele and Tavi always enjoy a cool bubble bath or refreshing dip in the pool when the weather warms up.
These fun bubble baths also serve as enrichment, as hyenas like to cache things in water and come back to them later. Our Animal Care staff hides exciting items for the clan to find and ups the challenge level by making the items hard to see with bubbles. Whenever the suds come out, our hyenas get extra excited to play!
