Venezuela's Tintori unveils jailed husband's book

Описание: (20 May 2016) The wife of jailed Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez pleaded for help from other regional countries regarding the political and economic chaos currently taking place in her home country.
Speaking at a book fair Lilian Tintori was accompanied by four former Colombian presidents in a show of solidarity against the government of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
Tintori was in Bogota to present her husband's book "Imprisoned but Free."
Lopez is serving a near 14-year sentence for allegedly provoking violence during protests in 2014.
Elsewhere in Bogota many people gave what they could at a medical supply donation event intended to help Venezuelan hospitals that are in dire need of supplies needed to treat sick patients.
Venezuela is being wracked by an increasingly belligerent standoff between the government and opposition, while many Venezuelans are becoming fed up with a floundering economy marked by long lines for food and the world's highest inflation.
