Hotard Coaches highlights CDL driver jobs in Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas segment

Описание: Before most Southeast Texas residents are awake, CDL drivers at Hotard Coaches are already preparing buses to transport thousands of workers to area job sites.

Ty Davis, vice president of operations at Hotard Coaches, said the job of a commercial driver’s license holder is “extremely important” in the region and “entails a lot,” including transporting “precious cargo, being human beings.” Hotard Coaches provides transportation for contractors traveling to and from work sites across the area.

Davis said a typical day starts early, with drivers arriving as early as 2:30 a.m. and up to 4 a.m. to complete pre-trip inspections. That includes checking tires and equipment before leaving the lot. “We want to make sure that we have the correct def on our tires,” Davis said, adding that drivers look for issues such as “bald tires” and "bumps and abrasions," and “you also want to physically touch every single lug nut.”
