Juz 28 of the Quran covers several Surahs, each addressing different themes and stories:

Surat al-Mujadilah: It begins with the story of Khawla bint Sa’laba, who sought a solution from the Prophet ﷺ after her husband divorced her using the custom of Zihar, which left her in a limbo state. This Surah highlights Allah’s awareness of human struggles and provides guidance on secret conversations and social manners.

Surat al-Hashr: This Surah recounts the expulsion of the Banu al-Nadir tribe after they violated a treaty with the Muslims. It also highlights the importance of Allah’s names and attributes.

Surat al-Mumtahana: It discusses the importance of loyalty and secrecy in military matters, illustrated by the story of Hatib ibn Balata, who leaked information to the Quraysh but was forgiven due to his prior service in battle.

Surat al-Saff: This Surah encourages believers to be courageous, practice what they preach, and defend the community, with references to the prophecies of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in earlier scriptures.

Surat Al-Jumuʿah: It emphasizes the significance of Friday prayers and the Prophet’s roles in teaching, character development, and wisdom.

Surat al-Munafiqun: This Surah condemns hypocrisy, narrating an incident of discord among Muslims stirred by hypocrites, and highlights charity as a remedy for hypocrisy.

Surat al-Thaghabun: It focuses on the life hereafter, warning about the temptations of wealth and family, and the sense of loss that will be felt on Judgment Day.

Surat al-Talaq: This Surah provides detailed guidance on divorce, emphasizing the importance of following the correct procedures and being mindful of Allah during difficult situations.

Surat al-Tahreem: The final Surah tells of an incident involving the Prophet ﷺ and his wives, teaching lessons on sincere repentance, the importance of not making lawful things unlawful, and maintaining family integrity to avoid Hellfire.
