"The Father" By Florian Zeller is one of the most compelling, true to life and heartfelt movies on Dementia. Anthony, the main character, could be one of my patients.
The film portrays many aspects of this disease and the way it effects the person and the families. Most importantly, it allows us to experience what dementia feels like. It is impossible but to feel more compassion and understanding to those people and families affected by it.
There is no cure for this disease, only prevention. In prevention, lifestyle is the key!
