I've wanted to do this one since last December, but I had to put on hold because Unexpected was taking so much of the team's effort. Despite the simple outside appearance, a ton has gone into this one to capture both the spirit of Classic Cartoon Christmas Albums AND the greater depth of the smiling critters series we've been making for the past two years.

I listened to all the Care Bears Christmas Albums while making this for inspiration. Then, I listened to way better Christmas songs for better inspiration. I'm never sitting through that first Care Bears Christmas Album again.

(To address the elephant in the room, INUbis was unfortunately too busy to animate for this one, but they DID help design some backgrounds/sets, so you'll still get to see a bit of their creativity in this!)
