Hungarian Wine: Exotic Wine Travel in Balaton

Описание: Exotic Wine Travel shares impressions of Hungarian wine from the Balaton wine region. Our visit to the Lake Balaton region was short but yielded some wine gems and great experiences. Lake Balaton is one of the largest wine regions in Hungary. It is primarily a white wine region although there are both juicy and serious reds being made on both sides of the lake. There are some unique wine grapes here, including Bakator, Cserszegi Füszere, Kéknylanü, Rózsakö, Vulcanus, and Zeusz. The main white wine grape is Olaszrizling and Cabernet Franc for red wine grape, although many producers believe Pinot Noir can thrive here as well.
