Описание: Here's my backing track in D major . Try using my four essential licks over this track .... just be sure to move that pentatonic scale back three frets ... from the 10th fret to the 7th fret .


My channel is aimed at intermediate rock guitar players who are trying to learn how to solo .... how to string several licks together that follow the chords as they go by , lock into the groove .... and end on the right note !!! You can get a ton of mileage out of a handful of essential licks once you understand how to apply them . You don't need hundreds of licks to sound great .... you only need a handful !!! Once you get those licks in your head , where you can hear them or sing them .... and you stop thinking about what your hands are doing .... music comes out !! It takes time .... but once you fully understand that your licks are tied directly to the chords you're jamming over , you're on your way !!

Most licks last for two measures , or eight beats .... and they follow the chords underneath , which also last for two measures .... all my videos explain this in simple terms . Before long , you'll be soloing like a pro ... and you'll be able to solo in any key !!! Check it out !!!
