Quills vs Code: Writing in the Age of AI | AWC 2025

Описание: AI is reshaping the writing landscape, but should it replace human creativity? With NaNoWriMo’s recent AI stance and HarperCollins’ controversial move to sell authors’ works to AI systems, the writing community faces tough questions. In this seminar, I’ll share my experience navigating both sides of the AI debate: using it as a productivity tool in marketing while founding The Order of the Written Word, an anti-AI writing challenge focused on human-driven creativity.

Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the impact AI has on storytelling, practical strategies to protect human artistry, and a renewed sense of community. We’ll explore how we can push back against AI’s threat to creativity, showing that the future of writing lies in the hands of passionate, human creators.
